Box sets are wonderful things. You can start with one book, and move on to the next and the next, all without having to put your ereader down or close one story and have to find the next book in the series.

Love Among the Lilies started as a sort-of mixed set of books. It was originally Days of the Judges, and had Temper the Wind, His Brother’s Wife, and Warrior of the Heart, because for the longest time, those were all I had. Miriam’s story hadn’t surfaced yet.

Once I had Miriam’s story, though, Days of the Judges’s box set  simply couldn’t stay. I did a warning on my newsletter and social media pages, letting people know that the box set Days of the Judges was going to be unpublished, and would be replaced by a different collection of books.

Love Among the Lilies has several advantages. I now have my whole little village all together. Plus, I got a new cover! And isn’t it pretty!

As a side note, I definitely needed a better title, and I wanted one that carried the feel of both the time period and the romances inside. Where else to go to find a phrase that worked but Song of Solomon? So that is where I got my title.

“so well written. I feel that I have met and learned to love a whole village. I can picture the market place and feel that I have shopped there. Thank you Mary Ellen Boyd for this whole experience.” – Amazon reader review

“I was transported to an era I knew existed, but in Mary’s stories, I could taste the food, feel the heat, hear the sounds and feel the love between her characters. I bought this box set and finished them in three days.” – reader review

Available in ebook on Amazon, and in Kindle Unlimited
